Did I mention that Micah and Josh are doing karate? Micah started last year, and Josh started in September. They both just got their yellow belt with black stripe. Josh got to "skip" up a little because he learned two kotas instead of the one for the yellow belt. It was fun to watch them! It's great they can do this together!

Yarning Right Along
Joining Ginny again this week.
Here is the Phoebe sweater this week. I almost have the first sleeve done, then all I have left is the other sleeve, and the hood. I am pretty excited to finish, so it should definetly be done by next Wednesday ( I hope anyway).

Lovely Little Girls
Man oh man I love these little girls! I did a little photoshoot of them with their mama made dresses they got for Christmas! Gabriella got one too, but I didn't make her crawl around in the snow to take pics of her in it.
Love this face
Love this face too! She is going to be 5 in a couple months! I can't believe it!
So pretty!
Great pic that shows both their personalities. Abi's sweet, girlie self, and Eva's sweet, crazy wild self!

Yarn Along
So I have not posted once since last weeks yarn along because our main computer where the pictures are is having issues connecting to the internet. It's a bummer, cause I have several things I want to post about. Oh well, hopefully it will work again soon.
This weeks yarn along is very exciting, as I think I have knitted more in this short amount of time than ever before. I finally started Abi's Phoebe Sweater. I just started this Friday and I am already to the waist and am excited to see it coming together.
Totally not reading anything other than the pattern in the book. I think it helps that I am doing a Knit Along with my best friend, and she is a super fast knitter. Josh says I am knitting so fast because I now have competition. Haha!

Yarn Along
Joining Ginny, in a yarn along today. I am knitting up a hat for my dad that was supposed to be part of his Christmas gift, but I just did not have the time. It has a small cable in it(which I have already messed up part of it somehow, but the flipped up brim will hide) which I like a lot. This is the first thing I have made with a cable, and it looks so cool!
The book I am reading, Wild Things, is really great. There are a lot of good things in here. I do not agree with everything, but it gives you good insight into the heart of a boy.

Phoebe Mouse
This is Gabriellas Phoebe Mouse that she got for Christmas. I loved knitting this, and loved even more that it was seamless. She really loves it, and I am glad I made it for her.
She actually finds it in her toybox and plays with it on her own.
She likes to chew on it too.
I had to make her dress a little different because I did not have enough pink yarn left to finish it. But I think it turned out really cute like this.

Day After Christmas
So, did I mention that is snowed on Christmas? It was fantastic! The next day we went out and found some great hills to sled.
In town it seemed so deserted
Sledding on a farm is awesome
The cows thought we were crazy!
We even saw some turkeys
Figured the kayak was a year round toy! We could use it to sled with!
So very beautiful!
What a great day!
