I am using the Charlotte Mason Method for school this year. I have been researching for weeks/ months and I am getting a better grip on what I want to do and what we are going to do. I need to order more books and get some more supplies though. This method uses "living books" which is so fun. You don't just read a textbook and learn the facts, the books are written by people who have a passion for the subject and are written well.
This isn't a regular curriculum that is a set of books. There are a LOT of different books you read, music and art are huge, and it also encourages you get out and look at nature to learn about it. I am very excited, but still feel a bit unprepared. I need to get my schedule set, and the books I need and then I think I'll feel more ready for this next school year. Homeschooling can be fun for the mom too! I love books and I am excited about this year!
